This blog is like that diary I try to write in everyday, but instead once a month I remember it exist, write in it for a couple of days, then forget about it again. Except this time its been like 5 months!
I took the semester off (BIG.HUGE.MAJOR MISTAKE) but will return this summer, hopefully I’ll be able to start taking footage of that, I love studio footage! lol. So that’s something to look forward to.
Earlier I claimed 2010 as the year of SME but now after further viewing of my life, the year of FE aka me sounds much better. So I will be trying my BEST to document that, cause seriously, who keeps up with a blog that post once every 5 months lol.
The World Lost an important person to our culture this week.
I wasn’t gonna speak on it, atleast not on my blog, I figured I had said enough on my twitter and facebook pages. Either way here we are. I won’t front and say I bought every MJ album, or was the biggest fan in world, BUT I will say he influenced me greatly.
I remember being scared as heck watching Thriller, yet still enjoying it at the same time. That is how MJ influenced me most, through his videos. He always came with something different in his videos, NO ONE ever did it like him. After MJ I could never watch a music video the same, If it didn’t have that story line or something different in it, I wasn’t impressed.
So with that said, Thanks Michael, though I never got to meet you, I feel like I knew a part of you. Now I hope to bring it half as well as you did. Rest In Peace.
Heres a mixtape from an up and coming artist out of Houston. Unable to record in an actual studio at the time, MH and crew decided to do what they could with what they had. If that aint drive and determination, I dunno what is.
In this video we begin another sleepless night of promotion and songwriting. We bought some energy drinks to stay awake, one was a bit nasty to Marktavious, but as you can see, he kept on drinking it. After deciding the writing a song wasnt working out, we moved on to stuffing mailboxes with the Marktavious and Jazzy Hair promo. That was an interesting night of failed attemps of keying a car and a strange man who MIGHT have been following us (to bad none of that made the video, to protect the innocent and the guilty! )

This summer, me and the gang, Soundbloc, are planning to turn it up a 1000000 notches, to reach our goals. We officially made May 1st 2009 the start of this path. In the video you see us writing and recording a couple songs, for a local Houston artist.
